Friday, June 29, 2018, 8 AM-4 PM: Adult Mental Health First Aid Training is being offered at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center, 2000 N Dewey Ave, Reedsburg, in the Lower Level Education Room. Did you know you're more likely to experience someone in a mental or emotional crisis than someone having a heart attack? This course teaches a 5-step action plan to offer initial help to people with the signs and symptoms of a mental illness or in a crisis, and connect them with the appropriate professional, peer, social, or self-help care. This is normally an $80/person course, but through a grant, it is completely free! To register, contact Jodie Molitor 608-768-6247 or jmolitor@ramchealth.org. A second opportunity will be Wed, July 25 & Thurs, July 26, 4-8 PM each day at the Fusch Community Center.
