Event Description
Alternative Energy for Beginners: This course will cover the pros and cons of alternative energy, along with a discussion on the science of energy. Both major energy sources, such as solar, wind, and bio-mass (wood, pellet, grains, waste, compost) and minor sources of energy, such as hydroelectric, thermal mass, and exotic types will be reviewed. You will also learn about the economics, maintenance and construction aspects as well. This class is scheduled for Wednesday, September 21, from 6 – 9 p.m. at the Reedsburg Campus. Dave Kosak is the instructor for this class, and the course fee is $30.50.
