9:00 am – 3:00 pm: Open house with author and photographer Joe Rederer in the visitor center
11:00 am – Noon: Laughing with the Animals with David Stokes at the Lily Pad Classroom lawn
Noon: Lunch hosted by the Friends of Necedah NWR. Donations Appreciated
1:00 pm: Presentation: Beavers: Their Impact on Wetlands and the Refuge by Wildlife Biologist Brad Strobel in the visitor center classroom
All day: Self guided activity packs, scavenger hunts, Junior Manager programs and hiking
