Genealogy & Local History Meet Up

Event Description
The Local History and Genealogy Meet Up will feature guest speaker Russ Horton of the Wisconsin Veterans’ Museum.
The topic will be “Finding Those Who Served: Military Genealogy.” Horton is the Reference and Outreach Archivist at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum and according to the Museum’s blog, has the “primary job of helping researchers learn more about Wisconsin’s veterans. Those researchers include genealogists working on family trees, local historians studying the veterans in their community, students researching for projects and professional historians writing books.”
Horton will join the local group via Zoom. In-person participants will meet in the Reedsburg Library’s Community Room, 370 Vine Street. Those who would like their own link to the program should contact the library.
