Event Description
The UW-Extension is offering four 4-H Cloverbud Day Camps this summer for youth in K-2nd grade as of September 2018. They're open to both 4-H and non 4-H members! Each session is limited to the first 12 paid youth. Day camps may be subject to cancellation if less that 5 youth register.
Session 1: Habitats Are Home - Come experience a nature walk, a critter creek hunt, and other activities to learn all about our natural surroundings.
Session 2: Just the Food Facts. Engage in farm to fork activities and listen to our guest speaker to learn where our delicious food comes from. also, make your own butter!
Session 3: The Problem of Pollution. Join us for a flaura-fauna identification scavenger hunt, participate in activities to learn more about protecting our environment, and try your hand at making paper! Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle!
Session 4: Super Food Fun. In our last session participate in the "Seeds Have Needs" experiment, and explore more about seeds, plants, and the food we eat! Also, try your green thumb skills by planting your own seeds.
