Mirror Lake Wolf Program

Date: June 3, 2023 Time: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Event Description
Wolves:  Loved and Hated!  What do we really know about these top predators?  We will explore the lives and behaviors of gray wolves and what they need in order to remain a part of our wild landscape. The program will include video footage from Yellowstone, along with many artifacts that will compare wolves to coyotes, foxes, and bears.

Join Jerry Sanders and Debbie Hinchcliffe for this informative presentation on wolves. They have been very active in educating themselves about wolves over the last 25 years, including having traveled to the arctic on ten different occasions to study wolves with Dr. L. David Mech. They have also made annual trips to Yellowstone National Park to observe wolves in that magnificent environment. Currently, both Jerry and Debbie serve on the Board of Directors of the International Wolf Center and do wolf education programs for schools, nature centers, and state parks.
