Old World Wisconsin Trip

Date: June 25, 2018
Event Description Join the Able Trek Tour to Old World Wisconsin which has a vivid re-creation of the working farmsteads and settlements established by European immigrants. Discover teams of oxen and horses working in the fields, the farm folk preparing hearty meals over wood-burning stoves, and the heirloom plants in well-tended gardens. Stroll through the Crossroads Village and chat with the town blacksmith or the keeper of the general store. Discover the true spirit of early Wisconsin. We'll begin our visit with a narrated tram tour of the grounds. The rest of the day you can leisurely walk and/or have unlimited access to a tram which runs continually throughout Old World Wisconsin. A traditional Yankee Pot Roast Buffet with all the fixings and pie, served in Old World Wisconsin's 1897 octagonal Clausing Barn, is included. Moderate walking.
