The City of Reedsburg’s Municipal Pool will close after Labor Day weekend for the public, but the water will remain for the first Pooches’ Plunge. On Saturday, September 8th from 2pm-4pm you can bring your dog to swim in the large pool or wade in the kiddie pool. The cost is $5 per dog and human friends are free. The proceeds will benefit the new City of Reedsburg Dog Park.
This is a fun family event with the family dog in mind and it will be an open swim for dogs only. Your admission will earn you a ticket for a drawing that includes various dog related prizes. Additional tickets will be sold and the winners announced at 3pm.
Each dog will receive a “First Year Participant” commemorative button and goodie bag containing donations from local businesses. Please contact Kris Houtler at 524-6055 with any questions.
