Due to the ongoing Coronavirus situation, the log buildings will not be open to the public this year, but the new POW installation will be open for the public to enjoy. The exhibit is called: "Prisoners of War: Filling the Labor Shortage on the Homefront". For those who are not aware of this history, Reedsburg was one of the locations in our country that had small tent communities that housed German prisoners of war during World War II. During the summer of 1945, more than 100 POW's were held on the grounds where Webb Middle School is currently located. Those prisoners worked on area farm fields, canning factories and other industries alongside the residents of Reedsburg.

As always, donations are encouraged and greatly appreciated and are used specifically to support the preservation of the buildings and artifacts on the grounds.
