Hope House of South Central Wisconsin is hosting Project 16:49-How Rock Country Addresses & Supports Homeless Youth. This presentation will be held at Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells-Lower Ballroom B/H. Presenter Tammy DeGarmo will include an overview of youth homelessness; what communities can do to help address and prevent youth homelessness; how trauma and abuse impact youth homelessness; how a local documentary led to the creation of Project 16:49; the details about the organization's programs and services including structure and funding; plus lessons learned along the way.
