REEDSBURG FROSTY FEST 2014 CALENDAR OF EVENTS
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7, - SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 9
(Outdoor activities in particular are subject to weather and conditions)
 
ALL WEEKEND:
 

• Frosty Fest Shop Hop:  Visit ALL of the participating merchants during regular business hours, complete your passport, and enter to win a drawing for a $250 Reedsburg Area Chamber of Commerce Gift Certificate!  Download the passport here or pick one up at a participating business beginning February 7.
• Touchdown Tavern Wisconsin’s Hottest Chili Launch.  Prizes at random times throughout the weekend for people ordering  the new chili.  Try a cup for $3.99 or a bowl for $4.99.

 
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7:
 

• 4 – 7 PM:  Wine Tasting, Viking Liquor, 1625 E Main Street
• 6:30 PM – 9 PM    FREE Candlelight Ski and Bonfire         Hartje Learning Center, S2080 County Highway V.  Cross country skiing or hiking along a candle lined trail, bonfire, hot cocoa and hot cider
• 8 PM:  Frosty BEER Fest, Live Music Entertainment & Frosty Beer Specials, J’s Pub & Grill, 280 Viking Drive 

 
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 8
 

• 8 AM – 11 AM: Breakfast Buffet with Frosty, Viking Village Foods, 150 Viking Drive.  Under 2 eat free w/adult, Kids 2-11 $1, Adults $2.  No carryouts
• 9 AM – 3 PM:  Cross Stitch Demonstrations, Hook & Needle 244 E Main Street.  Buy the Cross-stitch Heart Candy Jar Kit for just $6+tax.  FREE instruction demos Friday and Saturday.
• 8 AM – NOON, FREE Decorating Cookies and Donuts with Frosty, VikingVillage Foods, 150 Viking Drive.
• 9 AM –Noon, Coloring Contest and Snowball Toss (inside), VikingVillage Foods, 150 Viking Drive

• 10-11 AM:  The Reedsburg Public Library's Second Saturday Program “Fun Family Frosty Crafts”  Supplies for several crafts with a snowman theme.  Reedsburg Public Library,  The Second Saturday program is from in the Library's Community Room.
• 10 AM- Noon:  FREE Snowshoeing demonstrations and trials HAS BEEN CANCELED due to family illness.  
• 1-3 PM:  Family Swim $4/swimmer, Swim Reedsburg, E6881 N Dewey Ave
• 1 PM - 5 PM:  Scrabble Tournament.  Non-sanctioned.  Preregister at the Chamber of Commerce for $5/person.  Contact Joann Mundth Douglas, 608-393-2795 for more information.  223 E. Main Street.
• 4 PM.  Butter Town Showdown, 1st round of Reedsburg style Family Feud, hosted by SSG Jason McDonough, Wisconsin National Guard.  FREE to attend.  Voyageur Inn and Conference Center, 200 Viking Drive
• 7 PM   Butter Town Showdown, 2nd and final rounds of Reedsburg style Family Feud, hosted by SSG Jason McDonough, Wisconsin National Guard.  FREE to attend.  Voyageur Inn and Conference Center, 200 Viking Drive

 
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 9

• 11 AM – 2 PM      Disco Bingo Bowling with Frosty Brewster’s Lanes, 121 Viking Drive.  Includes: 9” One Topping Pizza, Soda, Shoes, & one game of Disco Bingo Bowling.  $8.99 per person ($15 Value) at Brewster’s Lanes
• 11 AM – 3 PM:  Open Studio Make a Valentine,  The Cocoonery, 129 E Main St.  Come down to The Cocoonery during Frosty Fest and make a valentine for someone you love!  Drop in any time between 11 am and 3 pm. All supplies will be provided and light refreshments will be available.  $4 suggested donation to cover the cost of materials.
• 7 AM to Noon:  VFW Breakfast Buffet, VFW hall, 200 Veteran's Dr. (behind Burger King). Adults - $7.00 Children 4-13 - $3.00 Children under 4 eat for free.
• 11 AM to 3 PM:  FREE Sledding and Snowshoeing.  Cross country skiing- trails are not groomed.  Bring your own equipment.  Reedsburg Country Club, 3003 E Main Street
• 11 AM – 3 PM, Chili and mashed potato martini bar.  Load your mashed potatoes or chili in a martini glass then choose from a large selection of toppings.  $10 all you can eat, Bloody Marys ½ price, Frosty Beer cans $2, Hotdogs or cocoa $1.  Reedsburg Country Club, 3003 E Main Street
