Scott Russell Sanders will present Imagining Nature: Writing about Life on Earth on Thursday, September 20 at 6 PM. How do we form our ideas about nature? How do those ideas influence the way we experience and treat the greater-than-human world? In this presentation, he will read selections from his books illustrating how his own understanding of nature was formed, and he will speak about how writing might help us to envision a way of life that meets human needs while honoring and protecting Earth.
