Events Calendar

The Sauk County Land Resources and Environment Department (Sauk County LRE), in conjunction with Hoisington Koegler Group Inc. (HKGI), is currently working on a master plan to connect the existing Great Sauk State Trail (GSST) in the Sauk Prairie State Recreation Area to the 400 State Trail in Reedsburg, WI. 

As part of the public participation process, we will be holding a second round of open house events for the public to come and discuss ideas and concepts with Sauk County LRE and HKGI about GSST route alternatives and amenities along the trail.  

The next meeting in the Reedsburg area will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 3 pm – 7 pm at the Reedsburg Area Chamber of Commerce.   The public is encouraged to attend.
