The living history tour returns with actors telling the stories of nine people from Baraboo’s past. Hear the story of a Civil War soldier who survived one of the worst Confederate prison camps, the experiences of a cobbler from England, and about the life of a mayor’s wife who died after sleeping walking off of the roof. 

Guided groups will begin every fifteen minutes for the 75-minute tour. Reserved tour times are available online at www.saukcountyhistory.org 
Pre-event tickets are $18 per person with an SCHS member price of $15. (Tickets the day of the tour will be $21 and $18 for members.) Don’t miss this historical event which only comes along every other year.
