Torchlight Hike at Mirror Lake State Park

Time: 4:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Event Description
Join the Friends of Mirror Lake State Park for this fun-filled, family-friendly event at the beach picnic area. We will have two easy 1-mile trails lit by torches; one for cross-country skiers and the other for all to enjoy. Sleds are welcome on the hiking/snowshoeing trail.
The Friends will have refreshments to enjoy around the roaring bonfire when you are not out enjoying the trails.
A vehicle admission pass is required and will be available for purchase on the day of the event.

If you’d like to volunteer, simply email our event coordinator, Dex Johnson (dexj6ok@gmail.com). Let him know which event you plan to attend and share your contact info. Dex will follow up with all volunteers ahead of time with arrival details and role assignments. Typical roles include greeting visitors at the welcome and membership table, tending the bonfire, helping in the snack and cocoa area, and more.
These hikes are special nights at the park, and we’d love to have you join us. Thank you for considering it!
