Event Description
Several area businesses will be taking part in this Vintage Shop Hop Tour. The Shop Hop will include over 250 antique and vintage stores in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. This is the mother load of all road trips! It's a self-guided day of vintage shopping. Each shop will offer its own promotion--fun things like discounts, demonstrations, artists on site, prize drawings, treats, wine tastings, entertainment, punch cards, parking lot sales, discount balloon pops and more...whatever they want to offer to customers for your shopping enjoyment.
Antiques On Main will be featuring specials, and will also host a wonderful indoor flea market in its large lobby. You will find re-purposed and upcycled pieces, and great vintage finds only available that weekend. Antiques On Main has also spearheaded an effort to gather local shops for a great promotion to encourage visitors to our area with a punch card promo. If someone visits all of the five shops and gets their card punched, they will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift certificate from each location. That's a prize worth traveling for!
You'll find a link to an interactive Google Map showing all shop locations and an ongoing list of the shops as they sign up. You can pull up the map on your mobile device as you shop, making it easy to hop from shop to shop! And because it's a Google Map, you can also see restaurants, points of interest, gas stations and more.
