Thursday, October 18, 2018, 6-8 PM: Madison Area Technical College-Reedsburg, 300 Alexander Ave, Reedsburg, is offering Weather Basics. This is an introductory class designed for those who depend on the weather professionally, want to sharpen their acumen as storm-spotters, or are simply interested in the topic. The workings of the atmosphere will be conveyed in terms of a handful of basic physical concepts involving energy and motion. Rob McClure is the instructor.
