2014's Vet Fest Race will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014. Enjoy a run through historic Reedsburg and scenic Sauk County. Beautiful and challenging course on a paved surface. There are some hills! There is a KID'S 1 MILE RUN, the Little Beaver Fun Run for ages 11 and under. Register by March 22, 2014 for a chance to WIN one of six $50 Reedsburg Chamber gift certificates! Proceeds will benefit Reedsburg Area Veteran organizations, the Reedsburg Area United Fund, and will also be used towards a local high high school scholarship. | Apr 22 - May 20 Home Health United Spouse/Partner Loss Grief Support Group |
| Community Grief Support Group Offered Grief continues well after loss occurs and each individual experiences it in unique ways. It is not uncommon for grief to come in intense waves, especially within the first year. Many find it helpful to talk with others going through similar experiences. To support you during this time, Home Health United is offering ?Spouse/Partner Loss? support groups to anyone in the community who has experienced a loss. The groups are offered at no cost to participants. The ?Spouse/Partner Loss? support groups take place on Tuesdays, April 22-May 20, from 5:30-7:30pm at Reedsburg Area Medical Center. This grief support group explores issues specific to this type of loss. Pre-registration is required, and a minimum number must be registered for the group to take place. | Apr 26 Old Fashioned PLOW DAY CHANGED TO 4/26/14 |
Plow Day is now POSTPONED UNTIL APRIL 26. It is at the same location as last year (Gary Schyvinch’s land on Town Hall Road). Starting time is 10:30 am. Trucks, trailers, and tractors will be parked on the WEST side of the road. All spectator parking, food service and plowing will be on the EAST side of the road. There will be about 70 acres for plowing, so encourage your friends and neighbors to bring their old tractors (1959 and older) and have a fun day! Boys and girls under 16 who want to run a tractor and plow need to have their safety course certificate with them.
Arrive as early as you can, and please help us by volunteering for the many items needed to be done that day.
- 1. ALL plowing tractors to be 1959 or older.
- 2. ALL younger drivers MUST show us their certificate for passing state mandated tractor safety course. No exceptions.
- 3. NO passengers on tractors due to safety and liability concerns.
- 4. ALL drivers must enjoy the day!
- LUNCH: Jolly Beavers 4-H club.

- With a potential of 50+ tractors and 150 spectators, your help is needed. Come early and I’ll buy the coffee.
