Beayjolais Nouveau is a red wine produced from Gamay grapes in the Beaujolais area of France. These grapes are fermented for only 6-8 weeks & the wine is traditionally been one to celebrate the end of the grape harvest. The bottled product is released at 12:01 am on the third Thursday in November, known as "Beaujolais Day" which is accompanied by great celebration throughout France. |

| The Activity Department will be hosting a Pie Auction at the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center (RASLC) and at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center (RAMC). Bidding and viewing of pies at RASLC Main Street is from 10 AM-2 PM or bidding and viewing of pies can also be done at the RAMC in the Dietary Conference Room from 10 AM-1 PM. All money from this year's Pie Auction will be going toward special groups and entertainment for the residents and tenants at RASLC. A special emphasis will be focused on purchasing more iPods and other technology to facilitate music and other enriching programs at RASLC. | Partners of RAMC offers you the opportunity to pay tribute to those that hold a special place in your life by purchasing an ornament to hang on our Tree of Lights. This tree stands in the lobby of RAMC during the holiday season and is decorated with ornaments that honor, remember or salute our friends and loved ones. 'Lights' can be purchased at A Dream Come True Gift Shop, located just inside RAMC for just $5/name. Forms to purchase 'Lights' can be found on RAMC's website: www.ramchealth.com/tol, or at RAMC's Information Desk, as well as on many posters hanging at businesses throughout town. All funds raised by the Tree of Lights campaign are used to support Partners of RAMC's scholarship fund. Since 1974, this fund has continued to award yearly scholarships to local students pursuing careers in healthcare. In turn, this has allowed our Medical Center to recruit highly trained professionals, directly from our area. We thank our community for continuously supporting this important cause! |
