| February 1-March 2, 2018: Reedsburg Masonic Lodge #79 continues to take advance orders for their deep-dish, individual serving, all meat, Chicken Pies. The meat pies will be made fresh on Saturday March 3rd, quick frozen and ready for pick upon Sunday, March 4th at the Reedsburg IGA Store from 9 AM to 2 PM. Pies have a flakey top crust, an abundance of premium chicken & our special gravy. Cooking instructions are included. Each pie will feed one adult and costs $5. These pies keep very well in your freezer, so order enough to carry you through the cold weather. There is no better "comfort food". All proceeds from this fund raising event will go toward our scholarships for local students and other charitable projects. After the ceremony, take a peek inside the Sugar House and view some of the Maple trees and tap lines pre-set-up as the official tapping with students begins on Wednesday, February 28. | Wednesday, February 28, 2018, 6-9 PM: The Reedsburg Outdoor Club, S2064 Luedtke Rd, LaValle is holding its Spring Group Pre-Registration for the DNR Spring Hunter Safety Class. This class will be held March 19-20, 6:30-9, (Classroom), March 23, 4-7 PM (Field Exam) and March 24th 8 AM-3 PM (Field Day & Exam). Pre-Registration, all classes and the Field Day will be held at the Reedsburg Outdoor Club. Field Day is required to pass. We ask that the student will be 11 years old or older to be included in this class. Adults and parents of youngsters are also encouraged to take the course. A parent or guardian must sign the registration (if under age 18). The cost of the class is $10.00. Class size is limited, so please sign up early. This will be first come first served. You can reserve a spot by emailing your information to chillman@amfam.com. Upon submitting this email, you are committed to the class, but must still show up on Registration night to sign paperwork. A Social Security number is required. The format for this class is condensed, and prior study of the materials is mandatory. Each class is also mandatory.
