The event brings together teams of area teens, ages 12 to 18, to learn about substandard housing in our communities and raise funds for Habitat for Humanity while spending the night under the stars in cardboard shanties. Shanty Town gives local youth the opportunity to spend a night in substandard housing conditions and realize that it is a real, daily struggle for people in our community and all over the world. |

The Sauk County Emergency Management is teaming up with local response agencies to offer these FREE "Active Shooter Awareness" courses. Sauk County residents are encouraged to attend one of the free 2 hour training sessions.
Learn about personal safety, awareness strategies, and dealing with threatening and aggressive behavior. This is a dynamic training intended to introduce basic lifesaving concepts and train muscle memory on barricading, evacuation, and counter measures. Training is available on the following Saturdays:
